I hope you find some enjoyment in my blogs. This page contains a mixture of cooking, railraoding, programing, and IOT applications/hardware ideas.
How do you like the spacing of the navigation menu. I made the space between items larger, for use on cell phones.
Coming soon, a collection of receipes that I like to use. I promise to include my coleslaw dressing recipe that everyone request.
Frist day of cubbing at Battle Creek Hunt. A few pieces of tack to fix and clean.
Started the day with a bunch of activities for the Hunt Club. Played with the Poodles too. It is too bad that I can't throw anymore, secondary to my shoulder. Yes, surgical sites do get infected. Just remember before elective surgery.
Now for some back sell from yesterday. I made my basic WonderBread type white bread for sandwiches. The ingredients are as follows:
Mix the water and sugar. Sprinkle the yeast on top and allow to activate. Add the potato flakes, 1 cup flour, salt, and oil. Mix with wisk. Add enough additional flour, while mixing with a bread hook for the dough to form a ball. Cover and allow to rise (I use an oven with a proof setting and require about 30 minutes). Kneed/roll on floured surface about six times, flolding over after each rolling. Allow to rise in a well greased loaf pan about 30 minutes. Bake at 350 for 20 to 25 minutes.
Today I decided to get back to my web development. I was always more of a backend developer than a front end. This is my attempt to manage the whole thing. If you have comments, contact me via my link on the left
Back at work on my website. I have been writing articles for the Yardmaster, the NMRA Division 9 news letter. My byline has been "Work's for Me." These will be posted at a seperate web address--Works4Me.tips. Each article deals with a an idea concerning model railroading. One of the projects that I am working on is a Layout Command Control that is wireless utilizing MQTT and ESP32's. I will be posting code on my GitHub account, crbartman, and there is a readme file that discusses my ideas.
